Interior Define: Transforming Spaces
Creating a home that reflects my personal style while serving my family’s needs is my ultimate goal. I aim for my interiors to evoke a sense of peace, showcase unique elements, and embody an organic quality. Unlike many home influencers who rely on mainstream decor from big box stores, I seek out pieces that truly resonate with me. In this post, I’m excited to share one of my favorite brands that has been instrumental in helping me achieve this vision.
In this post, I’ll showcase pieces from Interior Define featured in three areas of my home: our industrial downstairs living room, the warm, minimal living room upstairs, and my middle son’s newly upgraded masculine bedroom. Every item from Interior Define is custom-made, ensuring a unique touch, and they’re all kid and pet-friendly.

Industrial Lower Level Kids Living Room
My vision for this space was to blend the Scandinavian simplicity I adore with playful pops of color. The modern industrial vibe is highlighted by the heated concrete floors and a sleek fireplace.
I custom-designed a large black leather Sloan sectional perfect for gaming and watching TV. A few years in, it shows no stains and has only become cozier. The vibrant rug and chair introduce an element of color, harmonizing the checkerboard pattern of the rug with the texture of the chartreuse velvet chair. You can shop these items by clicking here.
Upgraded Masculine Boys Room
My middle son was ready for an upgrade, so we chose a new bed, a cozy rug, and some more sophisticated linen bedding—and now he’s hooked! I collaborated with Interior Define to create this stunning custom leather bed in hunter leather, which is simply perfect. To me, green is a neutral that adds warmth and depth to his room.
I brought my son to the design studio, where he personally selected this rug for its texture and plushness. He loves it, and I appreciate how it keeps the room feeling light and inviting. The bedding is from The Citizenry, a sister company, and we couldn’t be happier with our choices. You can shop this room here.
Warm Minimal Cozy Living Room
Lastly, let’s talk about our main living room. I’m not one to clutter spaces with small fall decor, and I’m definitely not a fan of plastic autumn leaves or pumpkins. Instead, I wanted to create a fresh look by introducing warmth and depth through key furniture pieces.
My first step was to replace our very light rug with a darker one (which is also from The Citizenry: Artha in Black), it provided a solid foundation for an organic modern rounded Fiona sofa in fawn velvet. The slim gold legs add a delicate touch of femininity to this moodier space. The lamp stands out as a true art piece—both beautiful and functional. It’s solid, warm, and adds a significant amount of character.
The striking pattern of the Fiona ottoman in Raven Hunt Stripe complements the dark wool rug beautifully. Despite the kids and dogs making themselves at home, you’d never know it! The lamp has been on for days, and we leave it lit at night because its downlit shade adds the perfect warmth. You can shop this room here.
As I reflect on these transformations, I'm thrilled with how each space has come together to reflect our family's style and needs. Working with Interior Define has allowed me to create unique, functional areas that are both inviting and practical. From the industrial charm of our downstairs living room to the cozy warmth of our main space and the upgraded sophistication of my son's bedroom, every corner tells a story.
I hope my design journey inspires you to explore your own vision and embrace the beauty of custom-made furniture that truly resonates with your lifestyle. Thank you for joining me, and don’t forget to check out the links to shop these curated looks for your own home!
